About me
My name is Julia Medeiros, I am a professional apparel technical designer, the founder of JAM Fashion house.
I graduated Summa cum Laude from Kyiv College of Technology and Design in 1999.
In 2001 I founded a design studio (Atelier)for bespoke women’s clothing. Soon after I hired sewing experts and also began discovering other fields: making curtains, drapes and other in-home textile designs.
In 2007 I learned the technology of working with genuine leather: clothing, garments and bags, and began a new, Genuine Leather production line in my Studio. A few years later, I began a line with natural silk loungewear and sleepwear.
When in 2010, one of my customers asked me to teach her to make clothing, I learned that by sharing my achievements I can help people ignite and boost their talents while also making their creative dream come true!
I began with one-on-one mentoring, then began teaching in a group setting, offline and on-line. In 2021 I created the Fundamental Sewing Course, based on the major questions/ challenges that beginners and even more advanced sewers have. I am committed to helping you reach your sewing goals the most effective way with my personal customized coaching.
